Bankruptcy Legal Aid Foundation (BLAF) is a nonprofit public benefit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (status pending).
Tax Deductibility
Contributions to Bankruptcy Legal Aid Foundation may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for donations, except for intangible charitable benefits.

Bankruptcy Legal Aid Foundation does not participate in political campaigns or lobbying activities and does not support or oppose any candidate for public office.

Bankruptcy Legal Aid Foundation respects donor privacy. Donor information is used solely for charitable and administrative purposes and is not sold, traded, or shared except as required by law.
Refund Policy
Donations are generally non-refundable. Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted in writing.

Bankruptcy Legal Aid Foundation is currently pending registration with the California Attorney General’s Registry of Charitable Trusts and awaiting approval under IRC 501(c)(3). Registration does not imply endorsement by the State of California.
